WHAT KIND OF EVENTS can YOU PLAY at?

Weddings, corporate events, company parties, fundraisers, festivals, city events, birthdays, mitzvahs, anniversaries, and any other kind of party or concert.

HOW much do y’all charge?

We have a variety of packages and options that affect our pricing. In some cases, the event date, travel expenses, and performance length can also be a factor. Send a message through our contact us form and we’d be happy to send you a quote.

How would I actually book y’all?

Fill out our contact us form and we’d be happy to send you a quote. If you don’t have all the details yet, that’s okay! We can send you a basic contract for your event date and figure out the details later. We just need a signed contract and a non-refundable 15% deposit to book your date. It ensures we can fuel up, trailer up, and take care of other overhead costs to make it to the venue of your choice. We will discuss things further as things are getting finalized for your event.

Can I see y’all play a few songs before booking?

Hell yeah! We like to try on our boots before walking in them too! Feel free to attend any of our local shows! You can make it a date night or invite friends to come with y’all! If you would like a more private/intimate showcase performance, we can arrange something! We can also do a virtual showcase straight from our rehearsal space for you via zoom/video chat. That way you can sit back and relax with a beer in hand at home! Feel free to fill out our contact us form to set something up with us!

Do y’all do cover songs or originals? If so, can I request some songs?

We definitely prefer to play our originals but we do also play *some* cover songs specifically from classic rock bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimi Hendrix, ZZ Top, Ted Nugent, Marshall Tucker, Alice in Chains, etc. However, with enough time and practice, I am confident that we can play a few covers from other music artists as well within reason! Please be sure to specify which songs you’d like us to do covers of so we can coordinate the details when you contact us.

How long will you play for?

That will depend on your event, your preference, and budget. Please be sure to specify this in your inquiry when you contact us.

DO YOU PROVIDE AN MC FOR THE EVENT?

Yes, we MC the event for any introductions, special dances, toasts, announcements, etc.

Should I rent a stage?

Yes, while we don’t require one, we highly recommend renting a stage! It helps your guests see the band and creates an energetic show atmosphere. We do not provide stages, but we can direct you to vendors who do. A stage size of 24 x 12 is preferred. The minimum would be 20 x 12. Be sure to go over lots of questions with the venue such as lighting, PA/sound systems, noise level limits, curfew limits, etc. That will help us know what we need to bring or not. Most venues already have all these, but please inquire with the venue prior to verify details.

Do y’all travel?

Yes we can travel easily within Texas or close to neighboring states. Anything beyond that, we would need at least 3-6 months notice in order to plan for that on our end. Travel fees will be included on your quote whether it’s local to Texas or outside Texas.

Do y’all provide Liability Insurance?

Upon request, we can provide liability insurance for an additional fee. Please give us at least a month’s notice. It depends on the venue you are hosting your event at. Not all venues require one.

Do i need to provide food for y’all?

Yes, please provide the band and crew members with a hot meal for performances 3 hours or more. We definitely appreciate it! Nobody likes working on an empty stomach or parched out of their mind ya silly goose!

Can we discuss things via phone call or in-person?

Sure, no problem! Send us a message on our contact us form and we can schedule an in-person meeting or phone call. Please be aware that at some point we may bring our legal assistant with us to help coordinate specifics and legalities. Their goal in mind is to ensure that both you and Electric Church are protected. We all have heard of those crappy band stories and awful bridezilla stories! So that’s why we have safeguards in place to ensure you’re getting a kick-ass band and we are getting wonderful hosts! We appreciate your business!
